Unlocking

Place the key card near the circle by the driver’s window to lock or unlock the car.

Doors automatically lock within 15 seconds of driving and automatically unlock when you park.

Entering

Push on the tallest (highest) part of the handle and the handle will pop out. Grab the handle and pull to open.

To exit the car, press the door release button on top of the armrest handle.

Place the key card on the centre console, press the brake and shift the car into gear.

Once started, the card can be moved.

The gear stalk is behind the right-hand side of the steering wheel. Push it up for reverse or down for drive.

To park the car press the button on the end of the gear stalk.

Regenerative Braking

Regenerative braking increases battery charge by automatically applying the brakes when you take the foot off the accelerator. Instead of the car gradually rolling to a stop, the car will rapidly slow down. It does feel different to traditional braking, but most people adjust after a short while.

On the bottom left of the touchscreen, touch the car icon and select Quick Controls.

The rear camera is automatically displayed when you shift the car into the reverse gear.

While in other gears, you can select the camera button on the touchscreen to view the rear camera.

When you reach your desired speed, push and hold the gear stalk down to set cruise control.

Adjust your speed using the touchscreen or right-hand scroll on the steering wheel.

To cancel cruise control push the stalk up once.

The car automatically turns off when you exit, remove all key cards and close all doors.

If you don’t remove all key cards, the car will remain accessible and drivable.

You can also use the touchscreen to power down the car.

Ensure the car is off, unlocked and in park. The port is located near the passenger side taillight.

Open the port using the touchscreen or by pushing once on the cover.

When using a non-Tesla charging station, you’ll need to connect a SAE J1772 adaptor before you plug the unit into the car.

You can find this adaptor in the mobile connector kit in the boot.
